Belvoir Castle Beautiful Border Show
The brief was to create a beautiful countryside border. Taking inspiration from a Kandinsky painting seen in America, a bespoke willow screen curved and rose through the planting.
A softer palette near to water contrasting with brighter colours the other side of the fence. Designed to be attractive to pollinators, it immediately attracted visitors!
Planting combinations were used to allow for extended flowering periods and to create depth by layering colours.
Grasses were used to allow for movement in the breeze and a water feature for reflection.
